Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to help people in some way. I knew what it was like to feel like life is against you and I wanted to make sure no one ever felt that way when they were with me. There were so many times that I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel and then suddenly I crawled out of the tunnel on my hands and knees only to find hopes and dreams awaiting me on the other side. I wasn’t ready for the journey, but the journey was ready for me. My life changed in every single aspect because I chose to change my life – it was do or die at that point.
